OVERVIEW: Fund the People's 2017 Funder Retreat brings together a community of funders who are actively learning how to maximize investments in their grantees’ workforce. This is a top notch professional development experience that will engage foundation executives, trustees and staff to advance talent-investing in the field. Gain insights from the leading thinkers on driving effectiveness and equity, including NCRP, Bay Area Justice Funders Network, Northern California Grantmakers Full Cost Project, and more. You will also learn from key nonprofit leaders who are committed to staff development about the benefits and challenges of funder support for their workforce. IDEAL PARTICIPANTS: Registration is limited to funders who are deeply-experienced in talent-investing, and those who are seriously exploring adapting these practices at their foundations.
